A selection of Scottish agate jewellery. To include an agate bracelet, the seven vari-coloured agate beads of differing shapes, together with an X-shape brooch with crown-shape middle, set with three colourless cabochon pastes and vari-colour agate to the 'X'. Hallmarks for Glasgow, 1958 and one illegible. Lengths 2.3 to 20cms. Weight 49.1gms.
This lot is in fair condition, with scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal surface in keeping with age and wear. The quatrefoil brooch has one stone deficient and damage to the remaining stones. The dirk brooch has the main tapered stone deficient. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
