An early 20th century 9ct gold horseshoe locket. The horseshoe design with three central inlaid hardstone sections and engraved monogram to the reverse, opening to reveal two photograph panels. Length 3cms. Weight 13.5gms.
Overall good to fair condition, with light to moderate surface scratches from general wear. It doesn't quite close flush, the clasp would benefit from attention. One of the inner photograph sections has a plastic cover and one doesn't. Length including suspension loop 4cms. There are two minor pinpoint dents to the reverse and a small 1mm patch of tarnishing.
