An early 20th century gem-set silver bangle. Designed as a tapered triple wire half bangle with applied swallow, floral and foliate detail set with turquoise cabochons and split pearls, to the push-piece clasp and safety chain. Inner diameter 6cms. Weight 10.9gms.
Overall fair condition, with moderate surface scratches and heavy tarnishing. There is a drop missing from a suspension loop beneath the swallows head, at least eight of the cabochons are replacements either with new turquoise or some possible green glass, there is adhesive visible around some of the gems set in the swallow. The bangle is very slightly misshapen in places. Bangle stamped CF, XX, 830. Width at front 16mm width at back 3mm.
