An early 20th century platinum and gold, sapphire and diamond ring. The alternating graduated oval-shape sapphire and old-cut diamond line, to the openwork gallery and trifurcated sides. Estimated total diamond weight 0.65ct, J-K colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Weight 3gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band shows evidence of repair/ resize, wear to the later white metal plating. Diamonds fairly well matched, one with large dark inclusion. Sapphires are a well matched medium deep blue hue, well saturated, with fair to good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor to moderate abrasions. Ring size K.
