BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An open face eight day chronometer pocket watch by Longines. Yellow metal case, stamped 18k with poincon. Numbered 2973607. Signed keyless wind eight day nineteen jewel calibre 19.41 with club tooth lever escapement, split bi-metal compensation balance, blued overcoil hairspring and power reserve complication. White enamel dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary power reserve dial to twelve, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 50mm. 97gms. Box.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. There are numerous cracks to the dial around the 2 and 3 o'clock hour markers. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Hands show heavy rust. Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches. Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. There is heavy discolouration to the cuvette. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. This lot comes with a box in used condition with moderate wear but no papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
