- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
BREITLING - a gentleman's Colt Quartz bracelet watch. Stainless steel case with calibrated bezel. Reference A57035, serial 10988. Unsigned quartz movement with quick date set. Blue dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Professional bracelet with folding clasp. 38mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Crown occasionally appears to unscrew and disengage from hand setting. Screwing in the crown and restarting the hand setting operation currently appears to resolve this but it will require attention. Bracelet has light scratches and some signs of light stretching to links. Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks. Bracelet measures approximately 16cm including case. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
