- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
BREITLING - a gentleman's Windrider Chronomat chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case with calibrated bezel. Reference 81.950, serial 64024. Signed automatic movement with quick date set. Silvered dial with baton hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to six, nine and twelve, date aperture to three. Fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with signed stainless steel pin buckle. 39mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe. Hands have been badly re-painted. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows light scratches and marks. Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration. Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
