- Lot Description
BID ON THE-SALEROOM
INGERSOLL - a gentleman's Gems bracelet watch. Stainless steel case with white stone set bezel. Reference IG3416G. Unsigned quartz movement with quick date set. Silvered dial. Fitted to a signed stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp. 38mm.
Movement is not currently functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or symptomatic of something more serious is unknown. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial shows some small marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Hands show marks when viewed under a x4 loupe. Glass has some light scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case shows marks and scratches. Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has scratches and marking. Bracelet has scratches, marks and some signs of light stretching to links. Clasp is currently functioning and appears to have marks and scratches. Bracelet measures approximately 16.5cm including case. Lot to include an inner box. Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
