The sculpture EVA by Antonine de Saint Pierre is listed in the international art world. Antonine has been recognized for years for the full scope of her artistic work, including both monumental sculptures and framed bas-reliefs. Everything she creates sells immediately. Her works have been acquired by private collectors and prominent art buyers?around the world - including Shanghai, France, Australia, the United States, and the Middle East. They are exhibited in galleries in Paris, New York, Washington D.C., Sydney, Tokyo, London, Nice, Knokke-le-Zoute (Belgium), Shanghai, and Perth (Australia). A Rooted Artistic Heritage : The daughter of French antique dealers?and art collectors, Antonine grew up surrounded by rare objects and exceptional artworks. From a very young age, she was introduced to art history and refined aesthetics. She developed a deep passion for decorative arts from the 1940s, '50s and '60s, and a particular fascination with European mid-century ceramic design. ?She was raised in Saint-Pierre-lès-Nemours, in the historic region of?Fontainebleau - an area rich in heritage and nature, and home to many celebrated artists such as Jean Cocteau, Jean Tinguely, Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne, and Folon, among others. This vibrant cultural environment deeply shaped her artistic vision a n d vocation. Artists like the Lalannes and Folon were regular visitors to her parents' gallery and often welcomed Antonine and her father into their studios. Material and Memory : In her father's workshops and garages, often filled with classic Jaguars from the 1960s in the process of being restored, Antonine was introduced early on to raw materials and craftsmanship. It was there that she learned to work with sheet metal and steel - materials that today lie at the heart of her sculptural practice. This blend of technical learning and emotional legacy has profoundly shaped?her creative process. Steel, which she bends, cuts, assembles and transforms, becomes a living medium — a personal language and a carrier of emotion. An Intuitive and Spiritual Art : Born on May 8, 1974, Antonine is a Taurus?with Libra rising.
