- Lot Description
.45 ACP. 5" barrel. 237858. Blued metal refinish with bright trigger and checkered walnut grips mounting military pattern sights consisting of fixed blade and drift adjustable notch. Short recoil operated single action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Left slide struck with standard STAR-SA. CONTINJADORA DE / B. ECHEVERRIA EIBAR/ESPANA. Standard Spanish firing proofs to major parts. Pistol features a lanyard loop to the butt. Magazine blued with the floorplate struck STAR. Importer marks below triggerguard for C.A.I. {C&R}
Condition
Good as refinished. Bore is Very Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Item shows some internal cycling wear, a reassembly scratch to left frame, and some light edgewear and scratches. Maker markings worn down by refinish. Grips heavily worn down with skips to checkering and smooth spots. Magazine shows some light insertion scratches. The slide stop is slightly bent, and protrudes excessively from the left frame when mounted. Safety lever is similarly bent, but continues to function. Mechanically functional when cycled by hand.
