- Lot Description
Crimson Civil War officer’s sash. Approx. length 102 in. with 7 1/2 in. tassels, approx. w. 3 3/4 inches.
An officer's sash that could have been worn by a Union or Confederate officer. Fabric is in overall good condition, though small groupings of holes are scattered throughout. Slight tan streaking and spots persist where the color has faded. Tassels are intact but quite faded.
