An impressionistic and sensitive portrait of a Cuban woman.
Born in Madrid, García moved to Cuba near the end of the 19th century and embraced the island's national identity in his works, conferring great relevance to the local produce and vegetation. A prolific painter, his works are held in many prominent collections, including the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Havana and the Daytona Beach Museum of Arts and Sciences.
