Visible 15 1/4 in. x 21 1/8 in., framed to 17 13/16 in. x 23 9/16 in.
An abstract portrait of a "young troubadour." His hands, resting on the neck of a guitar, grasp a dainty yellow flower that emanates an entrancing glow.
Iglesias, from Santiago de Cuba, attended the José Joaquín Tejada Provincial Arts School at 14 years old, receiving a degree in drawing and engraving. While in school, the artists Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, and Fidelio Ponce de León became his inspiration, which influence through in Iglesias's artwork today.
