- Lot Description
.32 S&W Long. 3.25" barrel. SN: 336876. Blued metal finish with casehardened hammer and trigger mounting checkered walnut grips and fixed half-moon front blade and topstrap rear notch sights. Double action six-shot loading gate revolver with pinned barrel on a five screw frame. Barrel markings include standard caliber mark to right flank and two-line address and patent to barrel reading SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A./PATENTED FEB. 6. 06. SEPT. 14. 09. DEC. 29. 14. Serial numbers match on frame, cylinder, barrel, and extractor. {C&R}
Condition
Good. Bore is Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish retains much of the blue on the barrel and cylinder with finish flaking to brown patina on frame. Further brown flecking and streaks to all parts. Hammer and trigger with mottled brown on hammer and trigger. Grips worn with checkering flattened in places and some scratches and scuffs. Mechanically functional. Action shows good timing and a tight lockup.
