Includes illustrations after photographs taken by G.E. Jacobs of important battlefield landmarks, structures used throughout the battle, and postwar monuments. Also includes images after the Paul Philippoteaux cyclorama painting. Commissioned in 1879 by a group of Chicago investors, Philippoteaux extensively researched Pickett's Charge and unveiled the completed cyclorama in 1883.
