Liesel’s cheerful yodels drift through German Village’s gardens, brick streets, and shady lanes. The neighborhood gnomes say her melodies celebrate the people, places, and traditions that make the Village so special.
Liesel Weber has a voice that carries. The neighbors on S. Third Street will confirm this. She yodels when she's happy, hums when she's thinking, and breaks into full song when the German Village Singers are warming up. Which is often.
Liesel believes music is memory in another form. The songs that the German Village Singers have kept alive for generations carry with them the people who first sang them, the streets where they echoed, the hands that clapped along. She takes that seriously. She also takes it joyfully, which is the right way to take it. You'll hear her before you see her. Both are worth the wait.
