  Benjamin H. Grierson. Campaign Song. Printed songsheet. [Meredosia, Illinois]: N.p., [1860?]. 1 page, 8vo. 

   

  A stridently anti-slavery songsheet composed by Benjamin Grierson as a Wide Awake in support of Abraham Lincoln in the 1860 Election. At the outbreak of war, Grierson joined the Army and would go on to command a cavalry division, notably leading Grierson's Raid. He continued in the Regular Army after the war, serving as an officer in the 10th U.S. Cavalry, one of the all-Black Buffalo Soldier regiments. 

   

  RARE. OCLC locates only 8 copies and only 3 copies have sold at auction.
