  Fragment of blood-stained linen from President Abraham Lincoln’s deathbed. Collected by Charles K. Tuckerman, circa 1865. Approx. 1/2 in. piece of linen, matted and framed  to 12 1/2 x 17 1/2 in. 

   

  Facsimile of the original larger fragment with facsimile of the original note recorded by Tuckerman reading: “Relic from the death bed of Abraham Lincoln, stained with his blood. Taken from his death chamber. C.K.T.” 

   

  This piece of blood-stained linen is from Abraham Lincoln’s deathbed at the Petersen House, across the street from Ford's Theatre. It was acquired by the American Minister to Greece at the time, Charles K. Tuckerman, who was in Washington, D.C., when Lincoln was assassinated. 

   

  A wonderful piece to add to a collection of Lincoln relics.
