- Lot Description
.223. 16" barrel. SN: SP147253. (mfg. ca. 1982) Black Anodized finish to receiver with Parkerized steel components with two-position black enamel butt and round carbine length handguard with heat shield. Gas impingement driven gas operated semi-automatic rifle fed by detachable box magazines. Rifle features standard A1 pattern sights with two-position rear aperture, birdcage flash hider, sling loop to sight tower with sling loop port to pistol grip, and bayonet lug. Bore is chrome lined and the barrel marked C MP CHROME BORE. Left receiver shows the maker marking COLT'S FIREARMS DIVISION/COLT INDUSTRIES/HARTFORD, CONN./U.S.A. Rifle completed without the bolt-forward assist, and shows MODEL SP1 model mark on left magazine well. Lacks magazine. {FFL}
Condition
Good to Very Good. Bore is Very Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows some scattered light abrasions on barrel and receiver, spots of black finish touch up to stock, and some blue green residues in flash suppressor. Some scratches and abrasions to the edge of the ejection port and internal operating wear. Some brown flecking to barrel.
