Apollo-Soyuz Test Project dinner menu. SIGNED by 23 individuals related to the project, including 5 Cosmonauts and 4 Astronauts. Cocoa Beach, Florida, 8 February 1975. 4 pages, 8vo, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 in.
WITH TWENTY-THREE (23) SIGNATURES OF ASTRONAUTS, COSMONAUTS, AND OTHER SPACE NOTABLES.
An excellent souvenir of the 1975 Apollo-Soyuz Test Project or Experimental Flight "Soyuz"-"Apollo" (ASTP, Экспериментальный полёт «Союз»–«Аполлон»), the first crewed international space mission conducted jointly by the United States and the Soviet Union. The menu is evidently from a dinner held at Bernard's Surf in Cocoa Beach, Florida, near Cape Canaveral. The program lists the American and Soviet dinner guests on pages 1 & 4, and the menu for the evening in both English and Russian on pages 2 & 3. The program is signed by 21 of the 35 guests, and 2 additional NASA employees not on the printed guest list
Most notably, the program is signed by the Apollo astronaut crew and Soyuz cosmonaut crew, including some members of the backup crews: Thomas Stafford, Vance Brand, Deke Slayton, Alexei Leonov, Valery Kubasov, Alan Bean, and Antaloy Filipchenko.
