- Lot Description
7.62x39mm. 16" barrel (including welded muzzle extension). SN: VZ0154. Gray enamel painted phosphate finish with fiber reinforced synthetic furniture mounting adjustable tangent rear notch and partially hooded front post sights. Short-stroke piston driven gas operated rifle fed by detachable box magazines. Left receiver shows model marking MDL. VZ 2000/CAL. 7.62X39 followed by OHIO ORDNANCE WORKS/CHARDON, OHIO. Muzzle extension is welded to the front sight block to meet barrel length requirements. Comes with Czech pattern canvas sling with leather loop. {FFL}
Condition
Near Excellent. Bore is Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout and some light firing residues. Metal finish with some faint internal cycling marks and firing residues to bolt and carrier. Some brown patina forming inside of the gas port. Abrasion through enamel on top of the gas port. Furniture with faint handling marks and scratches. Action functions when cycled by hand.
