Contains fascinating descriptions, anecdotes, and remarks about the War, including the ship's capture at sea by the HMS Tenedos, helmed by Captain Hyde Parker (1784-1854), and his confinement, both on board a prison ship and ashore, first in Halifax at Melville Island, then in England at Chatham and later Dartmoor Prison.
