A distinguished Hermes Cheval Turc silk twill carre featuring Christiane Vauzelles’ iconic 1969 design, inspired by the opulent equestrian traditions of the Ottoman Empire. The composition centers on a finely detailed tableau depicting a man leading a magnificently adorned horse, its elaborate harness and decorative trappings rendered with exceptional precision.
The scene is framed by an ornate baroque-style border, adding both grandeur and historical richness to the design. This enduring classic has been reissued multiple times due to its continuing appeal,, and remains a treasured motif among Hermes collectors.
This particular colorway showcases a striking royal blue border surrounding a cream-toned field—an elegant and highly wearable palette that enhances the intricacy of the artwork.
