Oil on canvas depicting a striking portrait of a woman with an elongated face, reddish-brown hair, and serene blue eyes, adorned with a black hat and dress. Her warm, orange skin tone stands out against a muted green background, featuring a bold orange-red vertical accent. Signed 'modigliani' upper right. Framed.
Amedeo Modigliani was an Italian painter, draftsman, and sculptor celebrated for his distinctive portraits and nudes. His work is characterized by the elongation of faces and figures, a unique blend of Cubism and African sculpture influences. While not widely recognized during his lifetime, Modigliani later achieved significant posthumous acclaim.
