Lot 126, Tielke's volume on the war between the Prussians, Austrians, and Russians, is from the Library of Thomas Howard, the British deserter and United States supporter. Lot 53 isJohn Greaves volume on the history of English weights and measures. Lot 1 is an Andreas Vogler sundial and compass. Lot 7 is a Young & Sons transit and tripod. Six Electrical Scientific Laboratory Apparatus, 20th Century,
Comprising two Wm. J. Murdock Co., Chelsea, Mass. labeled copper knife switches with ebonized wood frames. Three B&LO Co. marked glass Leyden jar batteries with wooden lids; one discharger.
Largest Dimensions: H: 6 x Q: 10 x D: 5 1/2 in.Condition
Wear, grime and some rust commensurate with age and use. Two wood lids are cracked but intact.
