- Lot Description
A Chinese Export Assembled Tea Set, 18th Century,
Comprising a teapot together with a covered sugar bowl both with crossed strap form handles, mulberry form finial on lids and hand painted with purple and gold berry, leaves and sprigs decorations, a small monogrammed plate and a pair of tea bowls with a landscape and a wave and dot border.
Teapot Dims. H:5 W:8 D:5 1/2 in.
Plate dia: 6 1/8 in.Condition
Tea pot lid has a stapled repair; the sugar bowl has an approx. 1in. hairline crack and its lid has a chip at the rim; the plate has two repaired painted sections; the pair of cups and rim chips and both have two hairline cracks about 1" to 1 1/2" long.
