xxix, 204 pages, 9 unnumbered leaves of plates: illustrations, charts, 1 folded table. (Plates numbers and bound as follows, Frontis., iii, ix, iv, 8, vi, vii, ii, i. Plates i and ii bound upside down.)
Bound in blind stamped leather, raised bands, gilt spine title, marbled endpapers, all edged red. With headpieces and tailpieces.

With bookplate at front pastedown, Ex libris, Alph. Anglade / No. 134 / Index 6, with Dr. and P: van Ypersele j: U : L: ink on t.p. With, “ex Bibliotheca / P: van Ypersele j: U : L et flurica flandrid [?]vocati,” in ink on recto of frontis.
Jean-Pascale van Ypersele was a professor of climatology and environmental sciences at the Universite catholique de Louvain in Belgium.
