The Gray's January Fine Antiques, Art and Decorations Auction features porcelain and art accepted and displayed in Paris. At the Paris Exhibition of 1878, two of a set of eight Minton Cabinet Plates attributed to Christopher Dresser and formerly belonging to Newton A. Rockefeller were exhibited in Paris. Continuing a Parisian theme is the large landscape by Marcel Adolph Bain entitled Le Petit Pont that earned a place at the Society des Artistes’ 1914 Salon. Georg Jensen Koppel Pattern Sterling and Stainless Flatware, 20th Century
Comprising 10 dinner knives, 10 dinner spoons and one teaspoon, designed in 1981 by ANNELISE BJORNER (1932- ) who studied architecture and industrial design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. She has worked with architects Arne Karlsen, Vilhelm Wohlert, and Mogens Koch.
Not weighable due to handles being sterling but the knife blades and spoon bowls are stainless steel.
Knife Dims.: 7 1.2 in.Condition
Unused condition.
