A Griffin of London Science Lantern, 19th Century.
Having Mahogany brass and metal lamp house, two side opening doors, adjustable lens and top mounted apparatus with rack and pinion focusing, tole painted metal chimney.

Height: 18.00Width: 23.00Condition
Original light source missing. Light source electrified with halogen lamp. Interior modified with Transite heat deflectors. Lenses have fine scratches. Wooden case has scruffs, joint separations, and cracks. Rack and pinion focus functions.
