- Lot Description
A poster chronicling the origin story of Red {an orchestra} (Cleveland), commissioned by an orchestra member, the mother of Nick Mercer, a then-emerging artist, who did the pencils and inks for the poster.
Harvey Pekar, Gary and Laura Dumm were also commissioned to handle the story, lettering, and poster design and color.
Signed upper left by Nick Mercer.
Mounted on foam board.
