Johann Einberger Verge Fusee Repeater Pocket Watch with Chain and Key, Late 18th Century
A pair-cased open faced silver pocket watch, the quarter repeater gilt fusee movement with a verge escapement, the ornate foliate designed backplate engraved Johann Einberger Laufen, the porcelain enameled dial with large black Roman numerals, outer band in Arabic numerals for minutes, and gilt scroll pierced hands. With simulated tortoiseshell pattern and silver hinged outer case.
