The ship-master's assistant and owner's manual: containing complete information, as well to merchants, masters of ships, and persons employed in the Merchant-Service, as to officers and others in private ships of war, relative to the mercantile and maritime laws and customs, by David Steel.
With: Steel's tables of the British custom and excise duties, 5th ed., enlarged and considerably improved.
xvi, 604, xv, 224 pages: frontis., illustrated with numerous charts.
Bound in ¾ mottled leather with speckled leather boards.
H: 8 1/2 W: 5 7/8 in.Condition
Good. Front and read hinges cracked, much of the text browned, some slight foxing throughout, p. 488 with blurred printing. Frontis trimmed into image.
