Provenance: The Estate of Jane Warren Jones of Greenwich, Connecticut and Toronto, Canada.
Other Notes: According to her family, "Jane Warren Jones was an accomplished artist commissioned to paint portraits, but spent most of her time designing clothing from sweaters to formal evening gowns. The jewelry she wore was either custom made for her or purchased from jewelers considered by her and her peers to be the best in Greenwich and Toronto from the 1940s-60s. She only bought the highest quality stones, not for their monetary value, but for their appearance. As an artist, she was all about appearance and to her eye, only the best would do."
