20x27" plus 4" of matting/framing."Theodore Roosevelt's Guiding Spirit" poster features ghostly McKinley aiding Roosevelt as he guides "THE SHIP OF STATE" toward a rising sun on the horizon labelled "PROSPERITY". Dated 1901, an answer to the nation in "this hour of terrible national bereavement". At once both a touching McKinley memorial and a gentle reminder of the ship being righted from grief to prosperity by Roosevelt's capable hand. Benefits greatly from contemporary professional framing which mitigates staining at bottom border and perimeter generally. Evidence of amateur adhesive restoration at corners, along Roosevelt's leg, at right perimeter and vertically from top to 4" into poster near window. Fine. Roger Richert Collection.

We ship in the order paid—first in, first out. Thus, we begin charging orders as instructed by customers immediately following the close of the auction and continue to fill orders as they are paid.
Please make sure your shipping address is updated prior to the close of the auction.
Doing so after the close of the auction may result in a package not being delivered to the correct address. It is the bidder's responsibility to make sure their mailing and shipping address is updated. Without exception, all special requests for “Rush Delivery” will incur a charge of $50.00 plus any additional shipping fee associated with the expedited shipment.
