- Lot Description
Charcoal & coloured wash on paper titled Young Boy Fishing. Provenance: Somerset Art Gallery label verso. Signed & dated 1904 l/r, Image size: 15.5 x 10.75 inches (Frame size: 23 x 18 inches). This example appears to be David's earliest works ever to hit the auction podium. It was executed when David was studying in the Art Student's League in New York where he supported himself by doing commercial design and painted in his spare time.
