- Lot Description
A decorative silvered tray which has been modeled in repousse after the Francisco Pradilla Ortiz painting 'La Rendición de Granada' known in English as 'The Surrender of Granada'. The center of the tray is framed by a ring of detailed foliate design in relief, with the scene's etched title. The back is affixed with two rings and a length of twine to hang the tray on a wall.
17 x 23 in., (43.2 x 58.4 cm.)
Condition
Very good overall. Some very minor bends and dents throughout. Traces of the original gilding remain across most of the raised surfaces.
