- Lot Description
A World War 2 era Nazi German Civil Service Faithful Service Medal, First Class, awarded for 50 years of service as a civilian. The medal comprises a silver cross with a gold wreath, a black swastika at the center surmounted by a gilt number '50', hung from a blue ribbon. The reverse bears a square central tablet cast with the legend “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE†in Gothic script. The award was first instituted in 1938, though the exact number produced is unknown.

D: 1 5/8 in., (4.2 cm.) without the ribbon.
Condition
Overall very good condition. Light surface wear and patina consistent with age. Ribbon shows minor handling creases and light toning but remains structurally sound. No signs of postwar alteration observed.
