- Lot Description
late 18th to early 19th century curved blade with yalman, the back edge with 'T-bar' reinforcement except for the last false-edged 9 1/2 in., a panel of gilt koftgari arabesques extending to 6 in. from the hilt on both sides, brass cross-guard with engraved borders and lozenged finials, smooth hardwood pistol-grip scales held with brass pins and engraved brass grip-straps, in its brass-fitted scabbard with central leather portion and decorated rope belt.
Late 18th - early 19th century.
