• Lot Description

  A group of 5 lithographs depicting scenes from the Siege of Sevastopol during the Crimean War. The first showing the retreat of the Russians from the South side of Sevastopol. The second showing a Russian night assault on the trenches outside the city. The third showing soldiers digging and guarding the trenches. The fourth and fifth showing birds eye views of Sevastopol Bay.

  Condition

  Very good, with expected light foxing consistent with age.
