- Lot Description
A striking pair of decorative malachite obelisks, each constructed from carefully selected veneers of banded malachite arranged to create an even, richly patterned surface. The stones exhibit vivid green coloration with concentric "bull’s-eye" formations and undulating striations typical of high-quality Ural malachite.
Each obelisk follows the classical tapered form with a square plinth and stepped base, suitable for display on a mantle, console, or within a cabinet of hardstone objects. The workmanship reflects the traditional Russian style of malachite veneering developed in the 19th century and continued through the 20th century for luxury interior accents.

Very good condition overall. Minor natural inclusions and typical small surface wear. No visible chips or structural losses.
