• Lot Description

  A utilitarian partisan with a spike instead of blade at the tip consistent with the style of the mid-Renaissance in Western Europe. There are maker's marks on each side. The haft has been cut short but the langets are present and in good condition.

  L: 32.5 in. (82.55 cm.); H: 2 in. (5.08 cm.); W: 7 in. (17.78 cm.)

  Condition

  The blade appears to be mildly pitted. Overall the blade is in good condition. The maker's markings are clear. The pole has been cut.
