A finely crafted porcelain fish dish produced by the famed Kusnetsov porcelain factory during the waning decades of Imperial Russia. The dish is of a relatively simple oval form, with its rim painted with a vibrant cobalt blue trimmed with brightly gilt patterning around the entire circumference. The underside is marked with the Kuznetsov mark as it appeared between 1891-1917 and numbered 611/999.
Imperial Russia, 19th or 20th century.
L: 24 in., (61 cm.)
Very good, with no apparent chips or cracks. Some minor wear to gilding consistent with age.
