Of rectangular hinged form, the silver purse is richly ornamented on the front with applied and engraved musical and calligraphic motifs executed in parcel-gilt, including a treble clef, musical staff, horn, lyric inscription, and stylized floral devices, all arranged in an asymmetrical Art Nouveau–influenced composition. The surface is further enhanced by engraved flowing lines and subtle matte texturing, creating depth and movement across the façade. A small cabochon-set blue stone, likely glass or sapphire, is incorporated as a decorative accent among the engraved foliate forms. The lower left features a gilt book-shaped cartouche engraved with a personal presentation inscription. The reverse bears an engraved Cyrillic dedication reading "Ð’ памÑть жизни дорогой и времени воÑпоминаний. Люда", translating approximately as "In memory of dear life and moments of remembrance. Lyuda", confirming its function as a sentimental personal gift. The interior is lined in period red leather with compartment divisions for visiting cards. The piece is fitted with a silver-gilt rope-twist carrying chain. Marked on the reverse with a Russian silver standard mark "84" consistent with late Imperial Russian manufacture.
