- Lot Description
Second Empire magistrate's sword. Chased and gilded brass mounting with polished iron tigelles and pearls, pierced guard embellished with an eagle surrounded by foliage, cruise with two straight three-lobed pommel scales with an eagle on each side, chain forming a guard arm with steel pearl and gilded brass links and gilded brass, with floches at each end. Brass spindle chased with flowers, gray triangular blade, with a remnant of the maker's mark: "Coulaux & Cie Klingenthal".

Condition
Without scabbard, slightly twisted blade.
