- Lot Description
A hand hammered copper box by French art-nouveau artist Alred-Louis-Achille Daguet (1875-1942). The hinged, lidded box is decorated throughout with intricate repousse designs inspired by Frankish or Saxon artwork, with geometric patterning throughout, a wolf at the center of the lid, and eight copper rondels around the sides of the box. The box is studded with colored glass cabochons throughout. The interior lined with florally patterned fabric.

Condition
Very good, with minimal signs of age and use. Some fading to interior fabric.
