- Lot Description
A beautiful Italian saber engraved with intricate filigree design works throughout much of its surface, including on the blade, the guard, and the back strap. The grip is nicely made, comprised of wood or horn, carved with finger grips and stippled throughout. There are two small sections with text on the blade, one on the obverse and the other on the reverse. Both sides are obscured by pitting and are mostly illegible, while the obverse side, with the date 1868, is still clear.

Condition
Good overall with some surface rust and pitting throughout. Engraved text is partially obscured due to pitting. Hilt with a slight wiggle.
