Rare Chinese Famille Rose Lotus Dish, 18th Century. Of lotus form, the molded sides rise as a single lotus leaf issuing floral stems, painted overall with the "Three Friends of Winter" centering a medallion flowers and a grasshopper. Very rarely is the backside molded with lotus leaf, which makes this dish a complete piece of beautiful lotus.
