- Description: 19th Century Woman Floral Portrait Oil on Wood 15x14 Framed Artist Signed Painting This is a cozy scene of a woman picking through flowers to likely make a bouquet with a gorgeous seascape outside her window. The darker tones in the work bring forward the cool colors of the sea.
- Signature: Signature looks like GJ Burrees
- Condition: Fine overall condition, except for the significant craquelure throughout the work, which lead to inpainting to touch up the features of the woman and her flowers. The splitting of varnish was possibly caused by significant heat or being stored improperly. There is also minor wear, scuffs, and debris along the frame. See our multiple images.
