- Title: Circa 1943 Oversize Patek Philippe Stainless Steel Unusual Calatrava
- Description: Beautiful timepiece! Make it yours today. Happy bidding! We checked the movement is all orig except current enamel dial is non orig to the watch the curious 32mm size is one we have not been able to replicate while we have seen many oversize Calatrava in the 1940s we only find 35MM and 36MM. We found a similar one sold at Antiquorum in 1996 was called a ref 14, we also found one with an almost identical serial numbers sold in 1995 both of these pieces faired very well at auction we have seen some refer to this Calatrava as Calatrava like.
- Condition: Preowned minor wear. Crystal is clean no visible scuffs seen with the naked eye although there does appear to be some warping of the crystal near the 2 and 3 area. Dial is clean with only 2 visible surface scuffs. Caseback shows light wear. See photos for details.
- Movement Condition: When you wind it runs for a few seconds balance appears to be overbanked also the seconds bit appears to be broken hence no second hand. For optimum timekeeping accuracy we suggest an overhaul at buyers expense.
