- Description: There is a lot to unpack here! We have an actual magazine ad from the 1940s with a rendering of almost the exact brooch, dating this to the 1940s when we had a Federal Excise Tax. At the time this piece retailed for $2040 & we feel our auction estimate is justified not only because of the exquisite design & condition, but because of the rare 10.6mm NATURAL saltwater pearl as well. Add the fancy intense yellow, fancy orangish-yellow, fancy brownish-yellow & fancy greenish-yellow natural diamond side stones PLUS the ultra-bright, vibrant natural rubies, our estimate is from 10K-15K, but we expect robust bidding.
